Steffen and Ben have gone on a missionary tour throughout the godless land of East-Germany. The Christian denomination was only recently joined by Steffen, who is now expected to prove himself accompanied by the more experienced Ben. Pairing bible-believing strictness with teenage slang and Christian hip-hop, the two of them are off to to make Jesus known in the rural villages. When Steffen turns out to fail in his public prayers and preachings, however, a dangerous dynamic starts to form between the unequal men.

In the year 2020, there are still people who oppose against more environmentally friendly options. Why?

The bears want to cook something they've never had before. In a cookbook they find a recipe for truffles – rare mushrooms said to have an indescribable taste; they grow underground and only wild pigs can sniff them out. But the bears are ashamed to seek the help of a boar – they can manage on their own. It turns out that it's all a little different than they thought.

The society had been stabilised. The majority of diseases, the poverty and the unemployment had been eliminated. Happiness had been awaiting the human kind – but happy they have been not. Out of nowhere a wave of suicides has started to spread over the land. Enriko, a promising scientist, takes the best of the situation and starts the Laugh Club. Laura, a young introvert woman, decides to sign up for the Club after her sister dies, hoping to find a lost joy of life.
