Non-profit short film festival
The online Short Film Festival Tripoint DE-AT-CZ is organized as a non-profit short film festival with the aim of being able to present the works of German, Austrian and Czech filmmakers to the widest possible audience. We dispense with regular ticket sales for the festival stream.
Prize money for the winning films
All nominated short films compete for the Best Short Film, Best Animated Film, Best Documentary and Best Genre Film awards, which are each honored with prize money of at least €200. This prize money is intended to serve as a start-up aid for future film projects or to support the filmmakers financially in submitting entries to other festivals. With a donation you can help to increase this prize money.
Increase the prize money with a donation
We don’t charge a price for the tickets for the festival program. Tickets can be purchased free of charge.
Nevertheless, we recommend you BE FAIR and honor the work of the filmmakers accordingly by not just watching the short films for free.
We ask you to support the festival with a voluntary donation instead of a set ticket price. All income generated from the donations flows back 100% to the cash prizes, which thus increase accordingly.
Support Arts & Culture
Short films are an artform in their own right, which include all genres and film types. For many up-and-coming filmmakers, film students and actors, these are often the first step toward feature-length films. Nevertheless, short films continue to eke out a niche existence in cinemas and on television.
Support this special art form with your donation and support arts and culture. Give whatever the festival program is worth to you!
